THE BEST SPINACH DIP EVER!

best-spinach-dip-ever

As everyone is preparing to bring in the New Year this weekend, I thought I would share a couple of great recipes that would be perfect for your New Year party.
I love Spinach and Artichoke Dip and eat it more often than I probably should.  I have this amazing no-fail recipe that is quick, easy, gooey, cheesy, and oh so delicious.
But as good as this recipes is…..there are some  people that don’t like artichokes.  My brain can’t even process this as being a possibility,  but I have heard it is so.
At this point I will offer an excellent alternative…..This wonderful, warm, and creamy Spinach Dip.  I will even go so far as say this it is the best I have ever had and it is requested at all of our blogger events.

NEW LIFE FOR OLD / UGLY CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Here is the Christmas tree that I put up in my office.   It was very simple with just burlap ribbon, houndstooth ribbon, and some inexpensive ornaments that I painted.

If you have old ornaments that don't match your decor anymore or if you are just looking to change things up a bit, here have some suggestions.

I have added links below for the ribbon and ornaments I used on the tree above.

PAINTED ORNAMENTS - For the painted ornaments on the tree, I used inexpensive paints and simply followed the patterns on the ornaments.  After the paint dried, I sprayed a coat of clear paint over the entire ornament to give it a more finished look.

CAPTURING THAT SPECIAL MOMENT BY THE CHRISTMAS TREE

My mother plugged in the lights on her Christmas tree so my grandson could see it. He walked over to it and reached up to grab a light and I managed to get this one shot before everyone yelled at him not to touch the tree.
